    12V Parking lithium battery

    In addition to the main starting battery, your Kia K4 utilizes an auxiliary 12V lithium parking battery. This unit is designed to provide a stable power supply for specific functions while the vehicle is parked, such as processing Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, climate "after-blow" features, and Climate Control System (CCS) operation.

    12V Lithium auxiliary battery care

    The 12V lithium auxiliary battery is equipped with sophisticated self-monitoring. If the system detects an abnormality—such as an over-temperature condition or overcharging—an warning message will appear on the instrument cluster. Additionally, if your Kia K4 is linked to a registered mobile phone, a malfunction alert text message will be sent to notify you of the issue.

The reflection of these lights on the windows can significantly obscure your view of the road, potentially leading to accidents, serious injury, or death.

    The advanced electronic immobilizer system integrated into your vehicle serves as a primary layer of security, designed to protect your vehicle from unauthorized use and potential theft. This anti-theft configuration relies on an encrypted transponder chip embedded within your official smart key. If an improperly coded key, cloned fob, or any unauthorized bypass device is detected during an ignition sequence, the system immediately cuts off fuel delivery and ignition signals, ensuring that the vehicle's powertrain and electrical power system are completely disabled.
