Kia Seltos SP2 (2021-2026) Owner's Manual: Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) in the Kia Seltos is designed to help detect and monitor vehicles approaching or traveling in the driver's blind spot area. When a possible collision risk is detected, the system may warn the driver with a warning message and an audible alert. In addition, when the Kia Seltos is driving forward out of a parking space, BCA may help reduce the risk of a collision with an approaching vehicle by applying emergency braking when necessary. When the engine has stopped automatically through ISG, it will restart if one of the following driver actions occurs: The brake pedal is released. The shift lever is moved to R (Reverse) or Manual mode while the brake pedal is pressed. The engine will start again, and the green AUTO STOP indicator () on the instrument cluster will turn off.
