Inspecting and Replacing Climate Control Air Filter

When replacing the climate control air filter in your Kia EV6, follow the procedure carefully and avoid damaging surrounding components.

1. Open the hood and raise the front trunk cover while pressing the front trunk release lever (1).

2. Remove the access cover by pulling the upper section outward.

3. Remove the climate control air filter housing (2) by pulling out the left side of the cover (1).

4. Remove the old climate control air filter and install a new replacement filter.

5. Reinstall the climate control air filter housing and all removed covers in the reverse order of removal.

When installing a replacement climate control air filter in the Kia EV6, ensure that it is positioned correctly. Improper installation may result in airflow noise, reduced filtration performance, and decreased HVAC efficiency.
