If an aftermarket High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamp is installed, the Kia Seltos audio system and other electronic devices may malfunction or operate abnormally.

When metallic tinted film is applied to the glass, the hi-pass communication function, radio reception, connected car services, and automatic headlight operation may not work normally. Also, use care during installation because the solution used for tinted film may enter the interior and damage electronic components.

Shark-fin antenna
The Kia Seltos shark-fin antenna transmits and receives signals such as AM/FM radio and GPS. Depending on vehicle options, it may also support additional communication signals for connected services or navigation-related functions.

Check the overall height of the vehicle before entering low-ceiling areas such as automated parking facilities or automatic car washes to avoid antenna damage.

Do not contact or strike the antenna when loading cargo on the roof rack. Damage or obstruction may reduce antenna transmission and reception performance.
USB port
You can use the Kia Seltos USB port to connect a compatible USB device. Depending on the system and device type, the port may be used for media playback, data connection, or supported infotainment functions.

To install the fuel cap on the Kia Seltos, turn it clockwise until it clicks one time. This click indicates that the cap is securely tightened and properly sealed. Close the fuel filler door and press it lightly to make sure it is fully closed and flush with the body of the vehicle. WARNING Refueling Always remove the fuel cap carefully and slowly.If a professional towing service is not available during an emergency, your Kia Seltos may be temporarily towed using a suitable cable, chain, or towing strap attached only to the emergency towing hook located under the front or rear of the vehicle. Front Rear If towing is necessary, it is always best to have the Kia Seltos handled by an authorized Kia dealer or a professional commercial tow-truck service.
