If an aftermarket High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamp is installed, the Kia Seltos audio system and other electronic devices may malfunction or operate abnormally.

When metallic tinted film is applied to the glass, the hi-pass communication function, radio reception, connected car services, and automatic headlight operation may not work normally. Also, use care during installation because the solution used for tinted film may enter the interior and damage electronic components.

Shark-fin antenna
The Kia Seltos shark-fin antenna transmits and receives signals such as AM/FM radio and GPS. Depending on vehicle options, it may also support additional communication signals for connected services or navigation-related functions.

Check the overall height of the vehicle before entering low-ceiling areas such as automated parking facilities or automatic car washes to avoid antenna damage.

Do not contact or strike the antenna when loading cargo on the roof rack. Damage or obstruction may reduce antenna transmission and reception performance.
USB port
You can use the Kia Seltos USB port to connect a compatible USB device. Depending on the system and device type, the port may be used for media playback, data connection, or supported infotainment functions.

The Kia Seltos theft-alarm system is designed to help protect the vehicle from unauthorized entry and unwanted access. The Kia Seltos is engineered to operate on unleaded gasoline with a pump octane rating of 87 ((R+M)/2), which is equivalent to Research Octane Number 91, or higher. Methanol-blended fuels should not be used, as they can affect proper drivability and may damage important fuel-related components. For the best balance of performance, reliability, fuel economy, and emissions control, your Kia Seltos should always be filled with high-quality unleaded fuel.
