Highway Driving Assist (HDA) in the Kia Seltos is designed to help detect vehicles and lane markings ahead. When operating on supported highways, it can help maintain distance from the vehicle ahead, maintain the set speed, and help keep the Kia Seltos centered in the lane.
NOTICE

HDA is available only on controlled-access roads of certain highways.
* Controlled-access roads are roads with limited entrances and exits that allow uninterrupted high-speed traffic flow. In general, only passenger cars and motorcycles are allowed on controlled-access roads.

Kia Seltos SP2 (2021-2026) Owner's Manual: Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) in the Kia Seltos is designed to help detect and monitor vehicles approaching or traveling in the driver's blind spot area. When a possible collision risk is detected, the system may warn the driver with a warning message and an audible alert. In addition, when the Kia Seltos is driving forward out of a parking space, BCA may help reduce the risk of a collision with an approaching vehicle by applying emergency braking when necessary.Kia Seltos SP2 (2021-2026) Owner's Manual: Occupant Detection System (ODS)
The Kia Seltos is equipped with an Occupant Detection System (ODS) in the front passenger seat. The ODS is designed to detect whether a properly seated front passenger is present and to determine whether the front passenger air bag should be activated and ready to inflate if needed. Only the front passenger front air bag is controlled by the ODS.
