Rear View Monitor (RVM) activates when the back-up light is ON, the ignition switch is ON, and the shift lever is in R (Reverse). RVM is a supplemental function that shows the area behind the Kia Seltos through the infotainment system while backing up.
NOTICE
After a display audio system or additional genuine Kia infotainment system is installed, Rear View Monitor may not operate exactly as described in the owner's manual. In this case, refer to the web manual for more information about setting up and operating Rear View Monitor.

The automatic transmission in the Kia Seltos is equipped with a shift lock system. This safety feature helps prevent the transmission from being shifted from P (Park) into R (Reverse) unless the brake pedal is pressed. To shift the transmission from P (Park) into R (Reverse), follow these steps: Depress and hold the brake pedal. The remote keyless entry system allows you to lock and unlock the Kia Seltos doors from a distance for convenience and security. If all doors are closed, the hazard warning lights will blink, and the chime will sound once for the smart key to confirm that all doors are locked.
