This mode is essential for long-distance travel, as it projects navigation cues directly onto the Kia K4 instrument cluster, minimizing the need to look away from the road toward the center touchscreen.

Low pressure warning display

This warning message appears in the Kia K4 display when the tire pressure drops below the recommended threshold, precisely indicating which tire requires maintenance. For more details, refer to Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Fuel economy

This data is permanently visible at the bottom center of the Full LCD information cluster in your Kia K4.

Average fuel economy is calculated based on total distance and consumption. TIP: To ensure high data precision, the average fuel economy is not displayed until the Kia K4 has been driven for more than 10 seconds or 0.03 mi (50 m) after ignition. Instant fuel economy tracks efficiency when vehicle speed exceeds 6.2 mph (10 km/h).

Drive Info display

The Drive Info display provides a snapshot of your trip duration, distance, and efficiency for each ignition cycle.

  • Fuel efficiency calculations for the Kia K4 begin once the vehicle has traveled over 0.19 miles (300 m).

  • Information resets automatically after the Kia K4 ignition is turned off and the driver’s door is opened, or after 3 minutes of inactivity.

  • You can manually reset this data by holding the “OK” button for approximately 1 second while the information is displayed.

Please note that driving information for your Kia K4 is actively accumulated whenever the engine is running, regardless of whether the vehicle is in motion or idling.

This dedicated screen in your Kia K4 provides a detailed summary of trip distance, average fuel economy, and instant fuel efficiency or total driving time, calculated specifically from the moment you last refueled.

  • Calculation for this mode begins automatically once the Kia K4 has traveled more than 0.19 miles (300 m).

  • To manually reset these statistics, press and hold the "OK" button for more than 1 second while this display is active.

  • The system will trigger an automatic reset every time you add fuel to the Kia K4.

  • Data accumulation remains active while the engine is running, including time spent stationary.

TIP

For precise results, the Kia K4 must be driven for a minimum of 0.19 miles (300 m) following an ignition cycle before the average driving statistics are recalculated.

Accumulated driving information mode

This mode tracks the long-term history of your Kia K4, displaying total accumulated trip distance, overall average fuel efficiency, and total elapsed driving time.

  • Cumulative information is calculated after the Kia K4 has covered more than 0.19 miles (300 m).

  • You can reset this data by pressing the "OK" button for at least 1 second while viewing the Cumulative Information screen.

  • Statistics are continuously aggregated whenever the Kia K4 engine is active.

Other view modes

Master warning mode

This mode centralizes critical notifications for the Kia K4, including:

  • Driver assistance system malfunctions, sensor limitations, or radar/camera obstructions.

  • LED headlamp or general exterior lamp malfunctions.

  • TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) faults or low-pressure alerts.

When an issue occurs, the Master Warning icon (Master Warning icon used in Kia K4 dashboard) will illuminate. Once the underlying issue is resolved, the warning light and the associated icon will automatically turn off.

Service mode

This mode is designed to help you stay on top of scheduled maintenance for your Kia K4.

  1. Service Interval Countdown

The Kia K4 intelligently calculates and notifies you of upcoming maintenance requirements based on your mileage or time intervals. When you are within 900 miles (1,500 km) or 30 days of a service, a reminder message will appear briefly each time you start the vehicle.

Service required

If you surpass the recommended maintenance schedule, a "Service required" message will display upon startup to remind you to schedule an appointment with your dealer.

TIP

Please note that maintenance mileage and day calculations for your Kia K4 may become inaccurate if the battery cable is disconnected or the battery becomes fully discharged.
