Blind-Spot View Monitor malfunction

If the Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) system in your Kia K4 does not function as expected, or if you notice flickering in the instrument cluster display or abnormal camera output, please have the Blind-Spot View Monitor system inspected by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.

TIP

  • Note that the Blind-Spot View Monitor may represent object distances differently compared to the actual view due to the wide-angle image correction of the Kia K4 Wide Side View camera. Always perform a visual check of your surroundings for maximum safety.

  • To ensure optimal performance and clarity of the Kia K4 Blind-Spot View Monitor, keep the camera lens free of dirt, ice, or debris. Do not clean the lens with harsh chemical solvents, high-alkaline detergents, gasoline, or acetone, as these can permanently damage the lens coating.
