To customize the Kia EV6 power liftgate functions, select the preferred opening speed or opening height in the infotainment settings menu. You may also disable specific functions if you do not wish to use them.
To change the Kia EV6 power liftgate opening speed, select Setup > Vehicle > Door > Power Liftgate Opening Speed > Normal/Fast in the infotainment system. The default setting is 'Fast'.

User height setting
Manually position the Kia EV6 liftgate to the preferred opening height.
Press and hold the power liftgate open/close button located inside the liftgate for more than 3 seconds.
When 'User Height Setting' is selected, the Kia EV6 power liftgate will automatically open to the custom height previously stored by the driver.
TIP
If no custom height has been stored, selecting 'User Height Setting' in the Kia EV6 infotainment system will cause the liftgate to fully open.
If one of the predefined height settings such as Full Open, Level 3, Level 2, or Level 1 was previously selected and then User Height Setting is activated, the liftgate will operate according to the manually stored position.
The Kia EV6 power liftgate opening speed and height preferences are linked to the active user profile. Changing the user profile may automatically adjust these liftgate settings.
