Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2) for the Kia EV6 uses front, front-side, rear-side, and rear ultrasonic sensors to identify available parking spaces and assist with steering, acceleration, braking, and gear selection. The system can help maneuver the Kia EV6 into or out of parking spaces while the driver remains either inside the vehicle or, in certain situations, outside the vehicle using the smart key.
The Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 forward and backward control functions are available on Kia EV6 models equipped with the Surround View Monitor (SVM) system.
Depending on market availability, Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2) may also be available for activation or purchase through the Kia Connect Store.

The Remote Parking and Remote Operation functions can be controlled from outside the Kia EV6 using the smart key.
Smart Parking and Smart Exit functions are designed to be operated while seated inside the vehicle.
Remote Smart Parking Assist helps the driver perform perpendicular reverse parking, diagonal reverse parking, and parallel reverse parking with greater confidence and precision.
The Smart Exit feature assists the driver when leaving a parallel parking space by automatically controlling steering inputs and vehicle movement.
Whenever Remote Smart Parking Assist is active, the Kia EV6 may simultaneously use Parking Distance Warning (PDW) and Surround View Monitor (SVM) systems to improve environmental awareness.
The parking assistance functions recognize parking lines, surrounding vehicles, and nearby obstacles through the wide-angle camera system to help position the Kia EV6 accurately within a parking space.
Depending on parking conditions, the system can reduce driver workload and improve maneuvering accuracy in tight urban parking environments.
Detection sensor
Please refer to the applicable sensor information section for details regarding the ultrasonic sensors, wide-angle cameras, and their installation locations used by the Kia EV6 Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 system.
WARNING
Always ensure that the wide-angle camera lenses remain clean and unobstructed. Dirt, snow, ice, water, or other contaminants may reduce camera performance and affect the operation of Remote Smart Parking Assist.
If the Kia EV6 has been involved in a collision or if the exterior mirrors have been manually adjusted or damaged, Remote Smart Parking Assist may not function correctly.
Never disassemble, modify, or strike the ultrasonic sensors or surrounding components.
If snow, rain, mud, or debris covers the ultrasonic sensors, detection performance may be reduced. Inspect and clean the sensors regularly using a soft cloth.
Avoid directing high-pressure water toward the ultrasonic sensors or camera systems.
Do not spray the sensors directly with a pressure washer, as this may damage or misalign sensitive components.
Remote Smart Parking Assist may not operate correctly if the bumper height has been altered, the ultrasonic sensor mounting position has been modified, or accessories, decals, films, or protective covers have been installed within the sensor detection area.
Always verify that the area around the Kia EV6 is clear of pedestrians, animals, and obstacles before activating any remote parking function.
Kia EV6 2022-2026 Owner's Manual: ECO mode
ECO mode in the Kia EV6 is designed to maximize electric driving efficiency by reducing energy consumption and minimizing driving behaviors that may negatively affect battery range. The overall electric energy efficiency of the Kia EV6 can vary depending on driving habits, traffic conditions, terrain, climate settings, and road surfaces.Kia EV6 2022-2026 Owner's Manual: V2L has ended. Battery level has reached the set value
V2L has ended. Battery level has reached the set value When the Kia EV6 high-voltage battery charge reaches the configured discharge limit, the V2L function automatically stops operating and a warning message appears on the instrument cluster. To continue using V2L, set the discharge limit lower than the current battery charge level.
