Press and hold the Parking/View button while Smart Parking or Smart Exit is active to
continue system operation.

Press the Remote Start button after locking the vehicle to remotely start the Kia EV6.
Press the Remote Start button while Remote Operation is active to stop the function.
Forward button
During Remote Parking operation, reverse parking assistance remains active while either
direction button is pressed.
During Remote Operation, the Kia EV6 moves in the selected direction as long as the
corresponding button remains pressed.

The Remote Operation feature of the Kia EV6 follows a simple two-step process that allows the vehicle to be moved
remotely using the smart key while maintaining safety and vehicle control.

1. Getting ready to remotely move forward and backward
There are two different methods available for activating the Remote Operation function of Remote Smart Parking

When the lighting control switch of the Kia EV6 is placed in the parking light position, the taillights, license
plate lights, position lamps, and instrument panel illumination automatically turn ON.
This lighting mode improves vehicle visibility during nighttime parking, low-light driving conditions, or
situations
where full headlamp illumination is not required.
Emergency Stop in the Kia EV6 is designed to assist when the system determines that the driver may be
unresponsive.
When this condition is detected, the system helps keep the vehicle centered in the lane and supports controlled
deceleration so the vehicle can be brought to a stop more safely within the driving lane.
