The Next Departure feature in the Kia EV6 allows drivers to schedule charging sessions and pre-set cabin climate temperatures before departure.

To activate scheduled charging and climate preparation for the Kia EV6, select the desired departure day and departure time within the infotainment system.

The Kia EV6 instrument cluster displays the currently selected gear position whenever the EV button is in the DRIVE READY or POWER ON mode. P (Park) Always bring the Kia EV6 to a complete stop before shifting into P (Park). To shift from R (Reverse), N (Neutral), or D (Drive) into P (Park), press the [P] button. If the Kia EV6 is switched OFF while stationary, the transmission system automatically shifts into P (Park).Kia EV6 2022-2026 Owner's Manual: Safe Exit Assist (SEA): (if equipped)
The Kia EV6 Safe Exit Assist (SEA) system is designed to help reduce the risk of accidents when passengers exit the vehicle. While the Kia EV6 is stopped, Safe Exit Assist can monitor vehicles approaching from the rear side area and provide visual and audible warnings if a passenger attempts to open a door when a potential collision risk is detected.
