The Kia EV6 Warning Methods settings can be adjusted while the vehicle is turned ON.

Select Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Kia EV6 Warning Methods settings icon (Warning Methods) from the infotainment system settings menu to configure the following options:

  • Warning Volume: Adjusts the volume level of Kia EV6 driver assistance warning sounds.

  • Driving Safety Priority: Automatically lowers the volume of other audio sources whenever the Kia EV6 Driving Safety system generates warning notifications.

The Kia EV6 customizable Warning Methods settings allow drivers to personalize alert behavior for a more comfortable driving experience.

TIP

  • Your selected Kia EV6 Warning Methods settings may also apply to other driver assistance systems installed in the vehicle.

  • The Warning Methods settings are typically saved even after the Kia EV6 is turned OFF and restarted.

  • The Warning Methods settings menu may not be available on all Kia EV6 trims or regional configurations.

  • Depending on software version and vehicle equipment, the displayed Kia EV6 infotainment menus may appear slightly different.

WARNING Never start the Kia EV6 while the accelerator pedal is depressed. The vehicle may move unexpectedly, which could result in a collision or serious injury. The Kia EV6 can be started by pressing the EV button only when a registered smart key is detected inside the vehicle. Even if the Kia EV6 smart key is inside the vehicle, starting may not be possible if the key is positioned too far from the driver or outside the detection range.
