The integrated memory system in the Kia EV6 allows the driver to conveniently store and recall personalized driving settings using simple one-touch button controls.

This advanced comfort feature helps multiple drivers quickly restore their preferred seating and driving positions without requiring repeated manual adjustments.

The Kia EV6 integrated memory system is especially useful when the vehicle is shared by multiple drivers with different seating preferences.

WARNING

Never attempt to operate the integrated memory system while the Kia EV6 is moving. Sudden seat, steering wheel, or mirror movement could distract the driver and may result in loss of vehicle control, serious injury, or property damage.

NOTE

  • If the vehicle battery is disconnected or completely discharged, all stored memory settings may be erased.

  • If the integrated memory system does not operate correctly, have the Kia EV6 inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

Storing memory positions

  1. Shift the Kia EV6 into P (Park) while the EV button is in the DRIVE READY position.

  2. Adjust the driver’s seat, outside rearview mirrors, steering wheel, and other available settings to the desired positions.

  3. Press and hold memory button (1 or 2). The system will emit a notification sound and a confirmation message such as Driver 1 or Driver 2 settings saved will appear on the infotainment display.

The Kia EV6 memory seat function allows drivers to save preferred comfort settings for faster vehicle preparation before driving.

Recalling memory positions

  1. Shift the Kia EV6 into P (Park) while the EV button is in the DRIVE READY position.

  2. Press the desired memory button (1 or 2). The system will beep once, and the driver’s seat position, outside rearview mirror position, steering wheel position, and Head-Up Display height will automatically move to the stored settings.

  3. A Driver 1 or Driver 2 settings applied message will appear on the Kia EV6 infotainment screen.

The automatic recall feature of the Kia EV6 provides added convenience and helps reduce the need for repeated manual seat and mirror adjustments.

Resetting the system

Under the following conditions, Smart Cruise Control on the Kia EV6 may operate abnormally, react later than expected, or function differently from normal operation. Drivers should always remain alert and avoid relying entirely on automated assistance systems. The detection sensor or surrounding sensor area is contaminated, obstructed, damaged, or covered with dirt, snow, water, ice, or road debris.

When the front door of the Kia EV6 is locked, pulling the interior door handle automatically unlocks the door and opens it simultaneously. The interior door handle mechanism is designed to provide fast and convenient exit access while maintaining safety and ease of operation for both the driver and front passenger. Rear door If the rear door of the Kia EV6 is locked, pulling the interior rear door handle once unlocks the door.
