Highway Driving Assist in the Kia EV6 detects lane markings and vehicles ahead to help maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front, keep the selected driving speed, and assist with keeping the vehicle centered in its lane while traveling on a highway or motorway.

Highway Lane Change Assist (if equipped)
|
Highway Lane Change Assist helps the Kia EV6 change lanes in the direction indicated by the turn signal switch when the system determines that the lane change can be performed safely.
NOTE
Highway Driving Assist is available only on controlled-access roads of certain highways.
A controlled-access road means a road with limited entrances and exits that allows uninterrupted high-speed traffic flow. In general, only passenger cars and motorcycles are permitted on controlled-access roads.
Highway Driving Assist operates on the main roads of highways or motorways and does not operate on interchanges, junctions, ramps, or similar connecting roads.
Additional supported highways may be added later through future navigation updates for the Kia EV6.
Detection sensor
Refer to the Detecting sensor(s) section for the applicable sensors and their locations. Proper operation of Kia EV6 Highway Driving Assist depends on clean, unobstructed sensors and suitable driving conditions.
CAUTION
For more information about detection sensor precautions, refer to Forward Collision-avoidance Assist (FCA) (Sensor Fusion). Keeping the camera and radar areas clean helps the Kia EV6 driver assistance systems operate more reliably.
Kia EV6 2022-2026 Owner's Manual: Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA): (if equipped)
Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA) in the Kia EV6 is designed to help enhance safety while reversing. Using advanced sensors and monitoring technology, the system can detect pedestrians, obstacles, and potential hazards behind the vehicle. When a collision risk is identified, the Kia EV6 may provide visual and audible warnings and, if necessary, automatically apply braking assistance to help reduce the likelihood of an impact.Push the charging door gently to open the Kia EV6 charging inlet compartment.
