Emergency Stop in the Kia EV6 is designed to assist when the system determines that the driver may be
unresponsive.
When this condition is detected, the system helps keep the vehicle centered in the lane and supports controlled
deceleration so the vehicle can be brought to a stop more safely within the driving lane.
Detection sensor
For the sensors used by this function and their exact locations on the Kia EV6, refer to the Detecting sensor(s)
section. The operation of Emergency Stop depends on accurate sensor detection, clean sensor areas, and suitable
road
conditions.

Tap the corresponding icon on the Kia EV6 infotainment screen to access Scheduled Charging and Target Temperature
settings.
NOTE
To use scheduled charging features, the Kia EV6 must remain connected to a charging cable at the scheduled
charging time.
You can configure charging schedules, charging dates, charging times, and target cabin climate temperatures.

This warning light appears under the following conditions:
When the EV button is switched to the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.
The Kia EV6 service warning light illuminates for approximately 3 seconds as part of the normal
system self-check process and then turns off automatically.
When the Kia EV6 detects a malfunction related to the electric vehicle control system, including sensors,
control modules, or other EV-related electronic components.
