ECO mode in the Kia EV6 is designed to maximize electric driving efficiency by reducing energy consumption and minimizing driving behaviors that may negatively affect battery range.

The overall electric energy efficiency of the Kia EV6 can vary depending on driving habits, traffic conditions, terrain, climate settings, and road surfaces.

  • When ECO mode is selected, the ECO indicator appears on the Kia EV6 instrument cluster and the ambient mood lighting color changes accordingly.

  • When ECO mode is activated:

    • Acceleration response may become slightly softer when the accelerator pedal is pressed moderately in order to improve driving range.

    • Air conditioning and climate control performance may be automatically limited to reduce electrical power consumption.

These operating characteristics are completely normal when ECO mode is active and are intended to help the Kia EV6 achieve improved battery efficiency and extended driving distance.

NORMAL mode

NORMAL mode is the standard driving mode in the Kia EV6 and is optimized for everyday driving situations including urban traffic, suburban roads, and highway cruising.

This mode delivers a balanced combination of acceleration response, driving comfort, steering feel, and electric energy efficiency for typical daily operation.

SPORT mode

SPORT mode in the Kia EV6 enhances overall driving performance by delivering faster accelerator response, sharper steering characteristics, and more responsive drive motor behavior.

On AWD-equipped Kia EV6 models, SPORT mode may also optimize the All-Wheel Drive system for improved traction and dynamic cornering performance.

Because of the increased power delivery and more aggressive drivetrain calibration, electric energy efficiency may decrease while SPORT mode is active.

When SPORT mode is selected, the SPORT indicator appears on the instrument cluster and the ambient mood lighting color changes to reflect the sport-oriented driving setup.

MY DRIVE mode

In MY DRIVE mode, the Kia EV6 allows the driver to individually customize and combine multiple vehicle system settings through the infotainment display.

Drivers can personalize steering feel, acceleration response, climate behavior, regenerative braking settings, and other driving characteristics according to personal preferences and road conditions.

SNOW mode

SNOW mode is a dedicated Kia EV6 driving mode designed to improve traction, stability, and vehicle control during snow, ice, or slippery winter driving conditions.

The system automatically adjusts drive motor engagement and power distribution depending on road conditions in order to improve stability and reduce wheel slip.

  • When SNOW mode is activated, the SNOW indicator appears on the Kia EV6 instrument cluster and the ambient mood lighting color changes.

  • On AWD-equipped Kia EV6 models, driving power is automatically distributed between all four wheels to maximize traction and improve stability on slippery roads.

WARNING

  • Press the accelerator pedal gently when driving on snow or ice-covered roads.

  • Always maintain a safe following distance from vehicles ahead.

  • Avoid abrupt acceleration, sudden braking, and rapid steering movements while driving the Kia EV6 on slippery winter roads, as sudden maneuvers may lead to loss of traction or accidents.

Initial setting for each DRIVE MODE

The Kia EV6 allows drivers to configure and personalize driving characteristics for each available drive mode through the infotainment system settings menu. For additional information, refer to the separately supplied Kia EV6 infotainment manual.

Kia EV6 2022-2026 Owner's Manual: Deleting the shared keys

Select Setup > Vehicle > Digital Keys > Smartphone key > Shared Keys > [Group] > Delete All on the Kia EV6 infotainment system screen. All smartphone digital keys other than the owner’s My Smartphone Key are grouped and displayed as Shared Keys within the Kia EV6 Digital Key 2 management menu. If multiple devices use the same smartphone account, they will appear under the same [Group] classification.

Kia EV6 Smart Cruise Control operates when the following conditions are satisfied: The gear selector is in D (Drive). Your Kia EV6 driving speed is within the applicable operating range: 5–120 mph (10–180 km/h) 0–120 mph (0–180 km/h) Electronic Stability Control (ESC) or Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is turned ON and available.
