Contents:

When the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system is active in the Kia EV6, driving force is automatically distributed between the front and rear wheels according to current traction conditions.

The AWD system improves overall driving performance and vehicle stability on difficult road surfaces such as steep hills, muddy terrain, wet roads, gravel, sand, snow, and other low-traction environments.

Advantage of electronic AWD

  • Improved straight-line driving stability at higher speeds.

  • Enhanced cornering and curve-driving performance.

  • Improved traction and stability on slippery, wet, sandy, snowy, or uneven road surfaces.

For safe AWD operation

Kia EV6 2022-2026 Owner's Manual: When flatbed is unavailable

A 2WD Kia EV6 may be towed without dollies only if the wheels not connected to the drive system remain on the ground. Release the parking brake before switching the vehicle OFF. If towing the Kia EV6 using only two wheels, always lift the driven wheels completely off the ground. CAUTION If any loaded wheel, tire, or suspension component is damaged, or if the Kia EV6 must be towed with the driven wheels contacting the road surface, install towing dollies beneath the driven wheels.

Kia EV6 2022-2026 Owner's Manual: Wiper Blades

When the windshield wipers no longer clean the windshield effectively, the wiper blades may be worn, hardened, cracked, or damaged and should be replaced. To prevent damage to the wiper mechanism, wiper arms, or related components, never move the wiper blades manually. The use of non-approved wiper blades on the Kia EV6 may lead to poor wiping performance, excessive noise, or premature failure.
