If the Kia EV6 Driver Attention Warning system is not functioning correctly, a warning message will appear on the instrument cluster for several seconds.
The Master Warning light (
) will also appear on the Kia EV6 instrument cluster.
If this occurs, have the Kia EV6 Driver Attention Warning system inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

If the front windshield area where the Kia EV6 front view camera is installed, the front radar cover, bumper, or related sensors become covered with snow, rain, mud, dirt, ice, or other foreign material, the detection performance of Driver Attention Warning may be reduced.
Under these conditions, the Kia EV6 Driver Attention Warning function may become temporarily limited or disabled.
If this occurs, a warning message and the Master Warning light (
) will appear on the
instrument cluster,
but this does not necessarily indicate a permanent malfunction.
Kia EV6 Driver Attention Warning should operate normally again after the obstruction or foreign material is removed. Always keep the windshield camera area and sensors clean.
If Driver Attention Warning still does not operate properly after removing snow, rain, dirt, trailers, carriers, or other obstructions, have the Kia EV6 inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
WARNING
Even if no warning message or warning light appears on the Kia EV6 instrument cluster, Driver Attention Warning may still not operate properly.
If the Kia EV6 sensor system is malfunctioning or obstructed, restarting the vehicle may not restore normal Driver Attention Warning operation until the problem is corrected.
Always maintain proper driver attention and safe driving habits regardless of Driver Attention Warning operation.

You can check the Kia EV6 Driver Attention Warning status through the service message section of the utility information view on the instrument cluster display.
Kia EV6 Driver Attention Warning may operate abnormally, provide delayed alerts, or function unexpectedly under the following conditions:
You are driving aggressively or making sudden steering inputs.
You frequently change lanes while driving the Kia EV6.
Other Kia EV6 Driver Assistance systems, such as Lane Keeping Assist, are actively controlling or assisting vehicle steering.
Lane markings are blurred, erased, damaged, covered, poorly visible, or difficult for the Kia EV6 front camera to detect.
The road surface is wet, snowy, heavily reflective, or affected by shadows and lighting changes.
The Kia EV6 is driven on winding roads, rough pavement, construction zones, or uneven road surfaces.
Strong sunlight, glare, nighttime conditions, or poor weather reduce front camera visibility.

The Kia EV6 may fail to start if the 12-volt battery charge is insufficient or if a related electrical issue is present. Check the battery condition by performing the following steps: Verify that the shifter dial is positioned in P (Park).
