While the Kia EV6 is in DRIVE READY mode, tap Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Driving Safety > Blind-Spot Safety on the infotainment system screen to configure Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist settings.
Blind-Spot Safety: The Kia EV6 Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist system warns the driver and may provide braking support depending on the level of detected collision risk.

When the Kia EV6 Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist system is activated or when the vehicle is restarted with the function enabled, the side mirror warning lights will illuminate for approximately 3 seconds as a system check.
If the Kia EV6 is restarted with Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist turned OFF, a warning message will appear on the instrument cluster display.
WARNING
If Blind-Spot Safety is turned OFF in the Kia EV6, always remain aware of surrounding traffic conditions and drive carefully.
The driver is fully responsible for safe lane changes and blind spot monitoring at all times.
CAUTION
When using a genuine Kia Trailer Kit with the connector plugged into the Kia EV6, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist automatically turns OFF.
In this condition, the Kia EV6 cannot provide blind spot assistance, braking support, or related warning functions while towing.
Extra driver attention is required whenever the system is inactive.
A genuine Kia Trailer Kit allows the Kia EV6 to recognize when a trailer is connected.
NOTE
If the Kia EV6 is restarted, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist maintains the previously selected system setting.

The Kia EV6 Warning Methods settings can be adjusted while the vehicle is turned ON.
Select Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance >
(Warning Methods) from the infotainment system settings menu to
configure the following options:
Warning Volume: Adjusts the volume level of Kia EV6 driver assistance warning sounds.
Haptic Warning: Activates steering wheel vibration alerts for additional driver awareness.
Driving Safety Priority: Automatically lowers other audio volumes whenever the Kia EV6 Driving Safety systems generate warnings.
The customizable Kia EV6 Warning Methods settings help drivers personalize warning intensity and improve driving comfort.
TIP
Your Kia EV6 Warning Methods settings may also apply to other installed driver assistance systems.
The Kia EV6 Warning Methods settings are generally saved even after the vehicle is turned OFF and restarted.
The Warning Methods settings menu may not be available on all Kia EV6 trims or regional configurations.
The displayed Kia EV6 infotainment graphics, icons, and menu layouts may vary depending on software version and instrument cluster theme.
