Warning lights
After starting the engine, make sure all warning lights turn off. If any warning light remains on, it indicates a condition that needs attention. Check the related message or have the Kia Seltos inspected if necessary.

This warning light appears in the Kia Seltos under the following conditions:

When the ignition switch or ENGINE START/STOP button is set to the ON position.

The light appears for approximately 3 seconds and then turns off if the ABS system is operating normally.

When there is a malfunction with the ABS. The normal braking system will still operate, but without the assistance of the anti-lock brake system.
Have the Kia Seltos inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
If the ABS warning light stays on while driving, avoid sudden braking when possible and arrange service promptly.

These two warning lights may appear at the same time while driving the Kia Seltos:

When the ABS and the regular brake system may not operate normally.
If both warning lights appear together, have the Kia Seltos inspected by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.
WARNING
EBD System Warning Light
When both the ABS warning light and the Parking Brake & Brake Fluid warning light are on, the brake system may not operate normally. In this condition, sudden braking may create an unexpected and dangerous situation.
Avoid high-speed driving and abrupt braking. Drive carefully only if it is safe to do so.
Have the Kia Seltos inspected by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.
NOTICE
EBD System Warning Light
When the ABS warning light is on, or when both the ABS and Parking Brake & Brake Fluid warning lights are on, the speedometer, odometer, or tripmeter may not operate correctly. The EPS warning light may also appear, and steering effort may increase or decrease.
Have the Kia Seltos inspected by an authorized Kia dealer to prevent further system-related issues.
