Purchasing used vehicle
If you purchased a used Kia Seltos, delete any smart phone key and card key registered by the previous user. Notify an authorized Kia dealer that you have purchased a used vehicle and check whether the card key supplied with the vehicle operates properly.
If the Digital Key 2 Touch card key does not work correctly, delete the existing card key, register the smart phone key again, and then re-register the card key. This helps protect vehicle access and ensures that only authorized users can operate the Kia Seltos Digital Key system.
Digital Key 2 Touch Maintenance
If the Kia Seltos Digital Key 2 Touch system needs to be repaired or replaced, the registered digital key smart phone and digital card key may be deleted during service. After repair, the keys may need to be registered again before normal use.
