If towing is required, it is recommended to have your Kia Seltos towed by an authorized Kia dealer or a professional commercial tow-truck service.

If your Kia Seltos is equipped with side and curtain air bags, place the vehicle in the ACC position while it is being towed. If the vehicle remains in the ON position, the side and curtain air bags may deploy if the rollover sensor detects the towing condition as a rollover situation.

When a registered digital key is linked to a user profile, the Kia Seltos can automatically apply selected vehicle settings when that digital key is used. This may include door lock and unlock behavior with Digital Key 2 Touch and other personalized settings available through the infotainment system. User profile linking and personalization are available for up to two drivers, allowing the Kia Seltos to provide a more convenient and customized driving experience for regular users.

Air bags in the Kia Seltos are activated and able to inflate only when the ENGINE START/STOP button has been turned to the ON position. The appropriate air bags inflate instantly during a serious frontal collision or side collision to help protect occupants from severe physical injury. There is no single fixed speed at which the air bags will inflate.
