Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) in the Kia Seltos is designed to help detect and monitor vehicles approaching or traveling in the driver's blind spot area. When a possible collision risk is detected, the system may warn the driver with a warning message and an audible alert. In addition, when the Kia Seltos is driving forward out of a parking space, BCA may help reduce the risk of a collision with an approaching vehicle by applying emergency braking when necessary.The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system in the Kia Seltos is designed to help stabilize the vehicle during cornering and other driving maneuvers where traction may be reduced. ESC applies braking force to individual wheels and works with the vehicle management system to help maintain stability when the Kia Seltos begins to lose traction or directional control.
