Taking care of leather seats

• Vacuum the seats periodically to remove dust, sand, and small particles. This helps prevent abrasion and keeps the leather in good condition.

• Wipe leather seat covers regularly with a dry, soft cloth.

• Using a leather protectant may help reduce abrasion and maintain the original color. Read the product instructions carefully and consult a specialist when using leather coatings or protective agents.

• Light-colored leather, such as beige or cream, can become contaminated more easily and may show dirt more clearly. Clean these seats more frequently to maintain their appearance.

• Avoid wiping leather with a wet cloth, as excessive moisture may cause the surface to crack or deteriorate over time.

Cleaning the leather products

Remove contaminants from leather surfaces in your Kia Seltos as soon as possible. If stains are left untreated, the leather color may fade or the surface may become damaged. Follow the instructions below for removing different types of contamination.

Cleaning the lap/shoulder belt webbing

Clean the lap and shoulder belt webbing with a mild soap solution recommended for upholstery or carpet cleaning. Follow the instructions provided with the soap. Do not bleach, dye, or re-dye the belt webbing, because this may weaken the material and reduce seat belt performance.

Cleaning the interior window glass

Rear window
