High Beam Assist (HBA), if equipped, is a Kia Seltos lighting function that automatically adjusts the headlight range by switching between high beam and low beam. The system responds to the brightness of detected vehicles, surrounding light, and certain road conditions.
Detecting sensor

The front view camera is used as the detecting sensor for High Beam Assist. It detects ambient light, the brightness of oncoming or preceding vehicles, and lighting conditions while driving.

Keep the windshield area around the camera clean and free from stickers, heavy dirt, snow, or accessories that may block the sensor view.

The automatic transmission in the Kia Seltos is equipped with a shift lock system. This safety feature helps prevent the transmission from being shifted from P (Park) into R (Reverse) unless the brake pedal is pressed. To shift the transmission from P (Park) into R (Reverse), follow these steps: Depress and hold the brake pedal.
