High Beam Assist (HBA), if equipped, is a Kia Seltos lighting function that automatically adjusts the headlight range by switching between high beam and low beam. The system responds to the brightness of detected vehicles, surrounding light, and certain road conditions.
Detecting sensor
[1]: Front view camera
The front view camera is used as the detecting sensor for High Beam Assist. It detects ambient light, the brightness of oncoming or preceding vehicles, and lighting conditions while driving.
Refer to the illustration for the detailed location of the detecting sensor on the Kia Seltos.
NOTICE
-
Always keep the front view camera in good condition to maintain optimal High Beam Assist performance.
-
Keep the windshield area around the camera clean and free from stickers, heavy dirt, snow, or accessories that may block the sensor view.
