Kia Seltos: Door locks / Door lock/unlock features

The Kia Seltos is equipped with door lock and unlock features designed to improve passenger safety and everyday convenience.
Impact sensing door unlock system
All doors will automatically unlock when an impact causes the air bags to deploy. This feature is designed to help occupants exit the vehicle more easily after a collision.
Speed sensing door lock system
All doors will automatically lock after the Kia Seltos speed exceeds 10 mph (15 km/h).
To activate or deactivate the automatic door lock and unlock features, select 'User Settings → Door → Auto Lock/Auto Unlock' on the instrument cluster, or select 'Setup → Vehicle → Door → Auto Lock/Auto Unlock' on the infotainment system.
NOTICE
The infotainment system may change after software updates. For the latest menu layout and detailed operating instructions, refer to the user’s manual provided in the Kia Seltos infotainment system and the quick reference guide.

Highway Driving Assist (HDA) in the Kia Seltos is designed to help detect vehicles and lane markings ahead. When operating on supported highways, it can help maintain distance from the vehicle ahead, maintain the set speed, and help keep the Kia Seltos centered in the lane. NOTICE HDA is available only on controlled-access roads of certain highways.Use the following information to maintain the exterior of your Kia Seltos. Keeping the exterior clean is not only visually pleasing, but also helps protect paint, trim, lamps, and body components from wear, contamination, and environmental damage. NOTICE If the Kia Seltos is parked near a stainless signboard, glass building, or other highly reflective structure, reflected sunlight may damage plastic exterior trim such as the bumper, spoiler, trim pieces, lamps, or outside mirrors.
