Brake control will automatically release approximately 2 seconds after the Kia K4 is brought to a complete stop.

If you press the brake pedal excessively during the emergency braking sequence, the Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist system will interpret this as driver intervention and immediately cancel the automated brake control.
