To customize the alert behavior in your Kia K4 while the vehicle is powered ON, navigate to Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Warning Methods on the infotainment system touchscreen. You can adjust the following:
Warning Volume: Allows you to modify the volume of the alert chimes. Please note that if you disable the primary Warning Volume setting, the system may still emit alerts at a lower volume to ensure your continued safety when operating the Kia K4.
TIP
Your chosen Warning Methods in the Kia K4 are often applied globally to other integrated driver assistance systems.
These settings are saved automatically and will be maintained when you turn OFF and subsequently restart your Kia K4.
The availability of the Warning Methods menu may vary depending on the specific trim and configuration of your vehicle.
For added convenience, you can configure the Parking Distance Warning system to activate automatically when driving at low speeds. To enable this feature, go to Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Parking Safety > Parking Distance Warning Auto On on your infotainment screen.
TIP
When the "Parking Distance Warning Auto On" function is active, the indicator light on the Parking Safety button (
) will remain illuminated.
