Your Kia K4 is thoughtfully equipped with a variety of interior lights to ensure cabin visibility for all occupants.
CAUTION
To prevent the Kia K4 12V battery from discharging, avoid using interior lights for extended periods while the engine is not running.
WARNING
Never operate interior lights while driving in darkness. The reflection of these lights on the windows can significantly obscure your view of the road, potentially leading to accidents, serious injury, or death.
To protect your vehicle's electrical health, if the interior lights are left on, they will automatically deactivate approximately 20 minutes after the Kia K4 is turned off.
Additionally, if your Kia K4 is equipped with the theft alarm system, the interior lights will automatically turn off approximately 5 seconds after the security system has been fully armed.

To customize your lighting, press and hold the button for approximately 1.5 seconds while the lamp is active. The brightness of the left or right map lamp will cycle; release the button once the desired illumination level is reached to save your setting for the Kia K4 interior.
Press and hold this button for about 1.5 seconds while the status indicator is illuminated to adjust the brightness of the front and rear lights in unison. Release the button when you have achieved the preferred brightness level. To reset the interior lighting to factory defaults, press and hold this button for more than 3 seconds while the status indicator is off; the lights will blink twice to confirm the initialization.
: DOOR mode
Indicator OFF
The Kia K4 interior lamp activates when a door is opened and remains on for 30 seconds after the door is closed.
Unlocking the vehicle with your smart key triggers the interior lamps for 30 seconds.
If the interior lights are active for 30 seconds, they will turn off immediately upon starting the Kia K4 engine or locking all doors.
If a door is opened while the vehicle is in OFF or POWER ON mode, the light stays on for up to 10 minutes. If the vehicle is in the ON position, the interior lights remain illuminated continuously.
Indicator ON
In this mode, the interior lighting operation is synced specifically with the physical opening and closing of the Kia K4 doors.
NOTE
Please note that DOOR mode and ROOM mode cannot be selected or activated simultaneously.

Simply press the designated button to toggle the cabin light on or off as needed.

The luggage compartment light in your Kia K4 automatically illuminates as soon as you open the trunk or liftgate.
CAUTION
The luggage compartment light remains active as long as the trunk or liftgate is open. To prevent unnecessary drain on the Kia K4 12V battery, ensure the trunk or liftgate is closed securely once you have finished loading or unloading your items.

Push the integrated switch to toggle the light on or off.
NOTE
Vanity mirror lamp usage: Always remember to close the vanity mirror and turn off the light when it is not required. Closing the sun visor while the vanity light is still illuminated may damage the sun visor material or lead to a 12V battery discharge in your Kia K4.
