SPORT mode manages the driving dynamics of the Kia K4 to enhance driver performance by automatically adjusting steering effort, engine response, and transmission shift logic.
When SPORT mode is activated, a distinct indicator appears on the Kia K4 instrument cluster.
The drive mode defaults to NORMAL when you restart the engine. To re-engage the dynamic experience of SPORT mode, press the DRIVE MODE button.
When SPORT mode is activated in the Kia K4:
Engine speed (rpm) tends to remain higher for a longer duration, providing immediate torque availability even after releasing the accelerator pedal.
Upshifts are intentionally delayed during acceleration to maximize power delivery.
TIP
Please note that overall fuel efficiency may decrease when you drive your Kia K4 in SPORT mode due to the performance-oriented calibration.
