Heating system operation tips

• To prevent dust or external pollutants from entering the cabin, temporarily select the recirculated air mode. Remember to switch back to external air intake once the conditions improve to maintain fresh air quality inside the Kia K4.

• The climate system draws air through the intake grille located at the base of the windshield. Regularly ensure this area is clear of leaves, ice, or snow to maintain efficient system performance.

• To minimize interior windshield fogging: always use the external air setting, engage the air conditioning to remove moisture, and adjust the fan speed as needed.

• Small puddles of water under the passenger side of the vehicle are normal and are simply a result of the A/C system draining collected condensation.

• Recirculated air provides the fastest cooling, but switch to external air periodically to prevent the cabin atmosphere from becoming stale.

• A momentary misty airflow may appear when the system performs rapid cooling of humid air; this is normal and will dissipate quickly.
