  2. People with sensitive skin or those who burn easily

  3. Fatigued or sleeping individuals

  4. Intoxicated individuals

CAUTION

Seat damage

  • When cleaning the Kia EV6 ventilated seats, avoid using organic solvents such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline. These chemicals may damage the ventilated seat surfaces and internal components.

  • Do not place heavy, sharp, or pointed objects on the Kia EV6 ventilated seats. Such objects may damage the seat material or ventilation system.

  • Prevent liquids such as water, coffee, or soft drinks from spilling onto the Kia EV6 ventilated seats. If liquid is spilled, wipe the seat immediately using a dry cloth and allow the seat to dry completely before operating the ventilation system.

If the Kia EV6 vanity mirror lamp is used, switch the lamp OFF before returning the visor to its original position. Failure to do so may lead to battery discharge or possible damage to the sun visor assembly.

Power outlet

The Kia EV6 power outlet is designed to provide electrical power for mobile phones, portable electronic devices, and other accessories compatible with automotive electrical systems.

Kia EV6 12-volt power outlet and charging socket

The connected Kia EV6 electrical accessories should consume less than 15 amps while the vehicle is operating.

  • Use the Kia EV6 power outlet only while the vehicle is switched ON and disconnect accessories after use. Operating accessories for long periods while the vehicle is OFF may discharge the auxiliary battery.

  • Only use Kia EV6 compatible 12-volt electrical accessories rated below 15 amps.

  • When using high-power electrical accessories, reduce the Kia EV6 heater or air conditioning system to the lowest operating level.

  • Keep the power outlet cover closed whenever the outlet is not in use.

  • Some electronic devices may create electrical interference when connected to the Kia EV6 power outlet. This may result in audio static or malfunction of other electronic systems inside the vehicle.

  • Insert the accessory plug fully into the Kia EV6 power outlet. Poor electrical contact may cause overheating or blow the fuse.

  • Use battery-equipped electronic devices with reverse-current protection. Current from the accessory battery may flow into the Kia EV6 electrical system and cause malfunction.

WARNING

Electric shock

Do not insert fingers or foreign objects such as pens or metal tools into the Kia EV6 power outlet. Never touch the outlet with wet hands. Failure to follow these precautions may result in electric shock or injury.

NOTE

  • Some devices may not support Kia EV6 fast charging functionality and may charge only at standard charging speed.

  • Use the Kia EV6 USB charging system only while the vehicle is operating to help prevent auxiliary battery discharge.

  • Only electronic devices compatible with the Kia EV6 USB port size and specifications should be connected.

  • The Kia EV6 USB charger is intended exclusively for battery charging purposes and not for high-power electrical operation.

  • Portable battery chargers and certain power bank systems may not recharge correctly through the Kia EV6 USB charging outlet.

TIP

Kia EV6 USB-C charging ports support Power Delivery 3.0 technology for compatible smartphones and tablets equipped with fast charging capability.

This function is designed primarily for digital devices equipped with USB Type-C connectors.

Actual Kia EV6 charging speed depends on the charging specifications and thermal management system of the connected device.

  • Rated output: 9.0 V/Max 3.0 A

Wireless smart phone charging system: (if equipped)

The Kia EV6 wireless smart phone charging system is integrated into the center console for convenient cable-free smartphone charging.
