If an emergency situation occurs on or near a roadway, it is important to alert approaching traffic as quickly as possible. Drivers of the Kia EV6 should immediately use the hazard warning flasher to increase vehicle visibility and help reduce the risk of secondary accidents.
The hazard warning lights are designed to notify other motorists that the Kia EV6 requires special attention. They should be activated whenever the vehicle is stopped because of an emergency, breakdown, roadside assistance situation, or any other circumstance that may present a hazard to passing traffic.

Activate the hazard warning lights whenever the Kia EV6 is stopped near the roadside, involved in an emergency situation, or undergoing roadside service or repairs.
Press the hazard warning flasher switch regardless of the current position of the EV button. The switch is conveniently located in the center fascia panel. Once activated, all turn signal indicators on the Kia EV6 will flash simultaneously to maximize visibility.
The hazard warning flasher can be operated whether the Kia EV6 is powered on or completely switched off.
Normal turn signal operation is disabled while the hazard warning lights are active.
Use additional caution if the Kia EV6 is being towed while the hazard lights are operating.
For improved roadside safety, position warning triangles or other approved emergency markers whenever local regulations require them.

When the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system is active in the Kia EV6, driving force is automatically distributed between the front and rear wheels according to current traction conditions. The AWD system improves overall driving performance and vehicle stability on difficult road surfaces such as steep hills, muddy terrain, wet roads, gravel, sand, snow, and other low-traction environments.Whenever a front door of the Kia EV6 is opened, the illuminated EV button becomes visible for easier access and driver convenience. The Kia EV6 EV button illumination automatically switches OFF approximately 30 seconds after the door is closed. If all Kia EV6 doors are closed and the vehicle is locked using the smart key or transmitter, the illumination turns OFF immediately.
