Stop the vehicle and open the driver’s door while the EV button is in the DRIVE READY position and the gear selector is in P (Park).
Move the driver’s seat and seatback fully forward to the maximum forward position.
Press memory button 1 (or 2) while simultaneously pushing the driver’s seat adjustment switch forward for more than 2 seconds.
While resetting the integrated memory system
The reset procedure begins with an audible notification sound.
The driver’s seat and seatback automatically move rearward while the notification sound is heard.
The driver’s seat and seatback then return to the default center position accompanied by another notification sound.
However, the reset procedure and notification sound may stop under the following conditions:
A memory button is pressed during the reset process.
The seat adjustment switch is operated manually.
The gear selector is shifted out of P (Park).
The Kia EV6 driving speed exceeds 2 mph (3 km/h).
One Pedal Driving activates while the driver-side door is closed.
NOTE
If the reset procedure or notification sound stops before completion, restart the integrated memory system reset process from the beginning.
Before starting the reset procedure, make sure there are no objects or obstacles near the driver’s seat that could interfere with seat movement.
After completing the reset procedure, the driver seat positions must be stored again before the Kia EV6 memory recall function can operate normally.

Charge battery This warning message appears on the Kia EV6 instrument cluster whenever any door, the hood, the liftgate, or the sunroof remains open or is not fully secured. The system clearly identifies which opening remains unsecured by displaying the corresponding warning location directly on the instrument cluster screen.
