The Kia EV6 fingerprint authentication system allows convenient use of personalized features such as personal information access, driver profile unlock, and valet mode exit.
When the fingerprint icon appears on the Kia EV6 infotainment display, place your finger on the fingerprint recognition sensor according to the on-screen instructions to complete authorization.
After successful fingerprint verification, linked features can be operated without entering a password.
If the fingerprint authentication system does not recognize your fingerprint correctly, remove your finger from the sensor and try again using gentle contact.
Fingerprint-linked features can be enabled or disabled through the Settings menu. Select:

NOTE
You cannot assign the same fingerprint to both Driver 1 and Driver 2 profiles. The Kia EV6 personalization system always operates using the most recently linked profile, and any previously linked profile is automatically canceled.

When this convenience feature is activated through the Kia EV6 infotainment system, all vehicle doors automatically lock once the vehicle speed exceeds approximately 9 mph (15 km/h). This advanced security system monitors door, hood, and liftgate activity and activates warning functions if unauthorized entry is detected. The Kia EV6 theft-alarm system operates in three separate stages.
