The Kia EV6 fingerprint authentication system allows convenient use of personalized features such as personal information access, driver profile unlock, and valet mode exit.
When the fingerprint icon appears on the Kia EV6 infotainment display, place your finger on the fingerprint recognition sensor according to the on-screen instructions to complete authorization.
After successful fingerprint verification, linked features can be operated without entering a password.
If the fingerprint authentication system does not recognize your fingerprint correctly, remove your finger from the sensor and try again using gentle contact.
Fingerprint-linked features can be enabled or disabled through the Settings menu. Select:

NOTE
You cannot assign the same fingerprint to both Driver 1 and Driver 2 profiles. The Kia EV6 personalization system always operates using the most recently linked profile, and any previously linked profile is automatically canceled.

The Kia EV6 infotainment menus and fingerprint system interface may change following software updates. For updated instructions, refer to the infotainment manual and quick reference guide.

CAUTION Avoid allowing chemicals such as perfume, cosmetic oils, sunscreen, hand sanitizers, lotions, air fresheners, or similar products to come into contact with interior surfaces of the Kia EV6. These substances may cause staining, discoloration, surface deterioration, or permanent damage. If accidental contact occurs, remove the substance immediately using a soft cloth.
