The Kia EV6 is equipped with interior and exterior rearview mirrors designed to provide improved visibility of surrounding traffic and objects behind the vehicle.
Proper mirror adjustment helps increase driving safety, lane awareness, and overall visibility during parking, reversing, and highway driving.
Inside rearview mirror
Adjust the inside rearview mirror so that the center view through the rear window is clearly visible. Perform this adjustment before starting to drive the Kia EV6.
Do not place luggage, cargo, or large objects on the rear seats or in the cargo area if they obstruct visibility through the rear window.
The carefully positioned rearview mirror system in the Kia EV6 helps provide better rearward visibility and improved driver confidence during everyday driving.
WARNING
Mirror Adjustment
Do not adjust the inside rearview mirror while the vehicle is moving. Adjusting the mirror while driving may result in loss of vehicle control or reduced driver attention.
CAUTION
Cleaning Mirror
To clean the mirror surface, use a soft paper towel or similar material lightly dampened with glass cleaner. Do not spray glass cleaner directly onto the mirror, as liquid may enter the mirror housing and damage internal components.
WARNING
Do not modify the inside rearview mirror in any way, including installation of oversized or aftermarket wide-angle mirrors. Improper modifications may increase the risk of injury during an accident or airbag deployment.

The integrated telematics controls in the Kia EV6 allow quick access to Kia Connect services and roadside assistance support directly from the mirror area.
Day/night rear view mirror : (if equipped)

Adjust the rearview mirror before driving while the day/night lever remains in the day position (1).
Pull the day/night lever toward you (2) to reduce glare from the headlights of vehicles behind you during nighttime driving.
When using the night position, some rearward visibility clarity may be reduced. However, glare from following vehicles will be significantly minimized.
Electric Chromic Mirror (ECM): (if equipped)
The electric chromic rearview mirror in the Kia EV6 automatically reduces glare from headlights of vehicles behind you during nighttime or low-light driving conditions.

The sensor integrated into the rearview mirror continuously monitors surrounding light levels and automatically adjusts mirror dimming to reduce headlamp glare from vehicles approaching from behind.
While the Kia EV6 is running, the automatic dimming function operates continuously without requiring manual driver adjustment.
This feature helps improve nighttime driving comfort and reduces eye fatigue during long-distance travel.

Your Kia EV6 may be equipped with a Gentex Automatic-Dimming Mirror featuring the integrated HomeLink® Wireless Control System.
During nighttime driving, this advanced mirror system automatically detects glare from trailing vehicles and reduces reflected brightness for improved visibility and comfort.
The HomeLink® Universal Transceiver allows the driver to conveniently operate compatible garage doors, electric gates, home lighting systems, security devices, and other wireless accessories directly from the mirror controls.
