While the Kia EV6 is in DRIVE READY mode, tap Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Speed Limit on the infotainment system screen to adjust the Intelligent Speed Limit Assist settings.
Speed Limit Offset: The speed limit offset can be adjusted to match the driver’s preferred tolerance. The Kia EV6 will warn the driver or adjust driving speed when the current vehicle speed exceeds the recognized speed limit plus the selected offset value.
Speed Limit Assist: Intelligent Speed Limit Assist informs the driver about the detected speed limit and additional road signs. It also warns when the Kia EV6 is driven above the speed limit and can recommend changing the set speed of Manual Speed Limit Assist or Smart Cruise Control to help remain within the legal road speed.
Speed Limit Warning: Intelligent Speed Limit Assist displays the recognized speed limit and additional road sign information. The system also warns the driver when the Kia EV6 exceeds the detected speed limit.
Off: Intelligent Speed Limit Assist turns off. The Intelligent Speed Limit Assist warning light (
) will appear on the instrument
cluster.
WARNING
When the Kia EV6 is turned off and restarted, the speed limit warning may automatically turn on again. For safety, always park the vehicle in a secure location before changing Intelligent Speed Limit Assist settings.
Kia EV6 2022-2026 Owner's Manual: Smart regeneration system will be temporarily canceled when:
Canceled manually The Smart Regeneration System temporarily turns off and the AUTO regenerative braking indication disappears from the Kia EV6 cluster display. Pull and hold the right-side paddle shifter for longer than 0.5 second. Canceled automatically The vehicle is shifted into N (Neutral), R (Reverse), or P (Park).WARNING Never start the Kia EV6 while the accelerator pedal is depressed. The vehicle may move unexpectedly, which could result in a collision or serious injury. The Kia EV6 can be started by pressing the EV button only when a registered smart key is detected inside the vehicle. Even if the Kia EV6 smart key is inside the vehicle, starting may not be possible if the key is positioned too far from the driver or outside the detection range.
