While the Kia EV6 is in DRIVE READY mode, tap Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Speed Limit on the infotainment system screen to adjust the Intelligent Speed Limit Assist settings.

  • Speed Limit Offset: The speed limit offset can be adjusted to match the driver’s preferred tolerance. The Kia EV6 will warn the driver or adjust driving speed when the current vehicle speed exceeds the recognized speed limit plus the selected offset value.

  • Speed Limit Assist: Intelligent Speed Limit Assist informs the driver about the detected speed limit and additional road signs. It also warns when the Kia EV6 is driven above the speed limit and can recommend changing the set speed of Manual Speed Limit Assist or Smart Cruise Control to help remain within the legal road speed.

  • Speed Limit Warning: Intelligent Speed Limit Assist displays the recognized speed limit and additional road sign information. The system also warns the driver when the Kia EV6 exceeds the detected speed limit.

  • Off: Intelligent Speed Limit Assist turns off. The Intelligent Speed Limit Assist warning light (Kia EV6 Intelligent Speed Limit Assist warning light icon) will appear on the instrument cluster.

WARNING

When the Kia EV6 is turned off and restarted, the speed limit warning may automatically turn on again. For safety, always park the vehicle in a secure location before changing Intelligent Speed Limit Assist settings.

During poor weather, slippery roads, or difficult driving environments, the Kia EV6 should always be operated with increased caution, reduced speed, and greater attention than under normal driving conditions. Hazardous driving conditions When driving the Kia EV6 through water, snow, ice, mud, sand, gravel, or other hazardous road conditions, follow these important driving recommendations to improve safety and maintain vehicle stability: Drive carefully and always leave additional braking distance between the Kia EV6 and surrounding vehicles.

Remove all objects from the Kia EV6 wireless charging pad, including the smart key and metallic accessories. Foreign objects may interfere with charging operation or cause overheating. Position the smartphone in the center of the Kia EV6 charging pad. When charging begins, the Kia EV6 charging indicator changes to orange.
