While the Kia EV6 is in the DRIVE READY state, select Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Parking Safety through the infotainment system display.
Forward/Side Safety: Provides warnings and braking assistance when there is an increased risk of colliding with pedestrians, vehicles, or objects located in front of or alongside the Kia EV6.
Backward Safety: Delivers warnings and braking intervention when there is a potential collision risk with pedestrians or obstacles behind the vehicle during reversing maneuvers.
CAUTION
When a trailer is electrically connected to the vehicle, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and related parking safety functions may automatically deactivate. Under these conditions, the Kia EV6 cannot provide assistance from the affected systems. Always drive carefully and maintain full awareness of your surroundings when towing. (Applies when equipped with genuine Kia towing components.)
NOTE
Forward/Side Safety can only be activated when Rear Safety is enabled. Rear Safety is automatically selected whenever the Kia EV6 is started, while Forward/Side Safety retains the previously selected setting.

from the infotainment settings menu to customize the following features:
Warning Volume: Adjusts the volume level of audible safety alerts. Even when the setting is turned off, the Kia EV6 may still generate low-level warning sounds for safety reasons.
Haptic Warning: Activates steering wheel vibration alerts to provide additional feedback when a potential collision risk is detected.
TIP
The selected Warning Methods may also affect other driver-assistance systems available in the Kia EV6.
Your settings are stored and automatically restored after the vehicle is switched off and restarted.
Certain Warning Methods menu items may vary depending on trim level, market specification, or software version.
Warning Volume and Haptic Warning cannot both be disabled simultaneously. If one option is turned off, the other remains active.

The Kia EV6 Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) system is designed to help improve driving safety by detecting vehicles approaching within the driver’s blind spot zones. If the Kia EV6 detects a potential collision risk in the blind spot area, the system can warn the driver using visual indicators in the side mirrors, audible alerts, and steering wheel vibration warnings.
