You can review the Kia EV6 energy consumption history together with driving dates and travel distances from previous trips. The system highlights the most energy-efficient driving record using a dedicated efficiency icon.

Electricity Use

To check the current power consumption of each major Kia EV6 system, select Electric Vehicle > Electricity Use on the infotainment display screen.

  1. Drivetrain displays the total power usage and energy flow related to the Kia EV6 driving motor, including propulsion energy and regenerative braking energy recovery.

  2. Electronics displays the power consumption used by various vehicle systems, including the instrument cluster, infotainment system, speakers, navigation, headlamps, control modules, and additional electronic components.

  3. Climate displays the electrical power and energy consumption used by the heating and air conditioning systems of the Kia EV6.

  4. Battery care displays the temporary power consumption used for high-voltage battery management functions, including:

    • Battery conditioning operation during winter to increase battery temperature and improve Kia EV6 driving performance and charging efficiency.

    • Battery cooling operation during summer to reduce battery temperature and help prevent high-voltage battery overheating.

OBC: Converts AC charging power into DC power in order to charge the high-voltage battery of the Kia EV6 efficiently. Inverter: Converts direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC) to power the electric motor and also converts AC back into DC when charging the high-voltage battery. LDC: Converts high-voltage battery power into low-voltage 12V electricity to supply power to standard vehicle electrical systems (DC-DC converter).

Power limited due to low EV battery temperature. Charge battery This warning message appears on the Kia EV6 instrument cluster whenever any door, the hood, the liftgate, or the sunroof remains open or is not fully secured. The system clearly identifies which opening remains unsecured by displaying the corresponding warning location directly on the instrument cluster screen.
