The drive mode integrated control system in the Kia EV6 allows the driver to select the most appropriate driving mode according to road conditions, weather, driving style, and overall driving environment.

DRIVE MODE

The Kia EV6 offers multiple drive modes designed to optimize efficiency, comfort, traction, and performance depending on driver preference and current road conditions.

  • Each time the DRIVE MODE button is pressed, the Kia EV6 cycles through the available driving modes in sequence.

  • If the Kia EV6 is restarted while operating in ECO mode, the system maintains ECO mode automatically after startup.

  • If the vehicle is restarted while operating in any other mode, the system may automatically revert to NORMAL mode depending on vehicle configuration and regional settings.

  • Depending on the market or software version, the Kia EV6 may restart in either ECO mode or NORMAL mode by default.

A highly sensitive detection sensor is integrated into the front passenger seat cushion of the Kia EV6. An advanced electronic monitoring system continuously evaluates occupant conditions to determine whether the front passenger airbag should remain activated or be automatically deactivated. The overhead console indicator illuminates the message PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF ( ) whenever the front passenger airbag system has been deactivated by the Occupant Detection System.

The front view camera of the Kia EV6 is used as the primary detection sensor for the High Beam Assist system. The camera continuously monitors surrounding brightness, approaching vehicles, taillights, and road lighting conditions while driving.
