Infants and younger children must always be secured in an appropriate rear-facing or forward-facing CRS that has first been properly installed in the rear seat of the Kia EV6. Always ensure that your child is correctly secured inside the child restraint system before driving.

If the vehicle head restraint interferes with proper CRS installation, adjust or remove the head restraint according to the instructions in both the Kia EV6 owner’s manual and the CRS manual.

Do not use infant carriers or child safety seats that hook over the seatback, as these systems may not provide sufficient protection during an accident.
NOTE
After any accident involving your Kia EV6, have an authorized Kia dealer inspect the child restraint system, seat belts, tether anchors, and lower anchor points to verify that all safety components remain in proper working condition.

With the Kia EV6 powered on, firmly press the brake pedal and shift the transmission into D (Drive) or N (Neutral). Press and hold the Parking/View button () to activate Remote Smart Parking Assist.
