Pull the Kia EV6 headrest fully forward and release it to adjust the forward position.

The adjustable Kia EV6 headrest design allows improved neck support and enhanced driving comfort during long trips.

TIP

The Kia EV6 headrest can be adjusted forward into 3 different locking positions by repeatedly pulling the headrest forward.

NOTE

If the Kia EV6 seatback is folded forward while the headrest and seat cushion are raised, the headrest may contact the sun visor or surrounding interior trim components.

Removing headrest

To remove the Kia EV6 headrest:

Recline the Kia EV6 seatback (2) using the recline lever or electronic seatback switch (1).
Raise the Kia EV6 headrest to its highest possible position.
Press the headrest release button (3) while pulling the Kia EV6 headrest upward (4).

WARNING

Headrest Removal

NEVER allow any occupant to ride in the Kia EV6 with the headrest removed or installed incorrectly.

The Kia EV6 headrests provide important support for the head and neck and may significantly reduce injury risk during a collision.

Reinstalling headrest

To reinstall the Kia EV6 headrest:

Insert the Kia EV6 headrest poles (2) into the mounting holes while pressing the release button (1).
Adjust the Kia EV6 seatback angle (4) using the recline lever or seatback switch (3).
Adjust the Kia EV6 headrest to the proper height and seating position.

WARNING

Headrest Reinstallation

To reduce the risk of head or neck injury, always confirm that the Kia EV6 headrest is fully locked into place and adjusted correctly after installation.

Rear seat headrest ➤

Armrest

To use the Kia EV6 rear center armrest, pull it forward from the rear seatback.

Slide the Kia EV6 armrest cover outward to access the integrated cup holder.
Slide the cover inward to use the built-in storage compartment.

The Kia EV6 rear armrest is designed to improve rear passenger comfort and provide additional convenience during travel.

During severe winter weather conditions, ice may accumulate inside or around the retractable exterior door handles of the Kia EV6, preventing normal operation. In many cases, gently tapping around the handle area can help break the ice and restore movement. Remove accumulated ice by gently tapping around the perimeter of the Kia EV6 door handle using the bottom of your fist in a circular motion.
