This indicator appears under the following conditions:
When the Kia EV6 is fully powered on and ready to be driven.
On: The Kia EV6 is operating normally and driving is possible.
Off: The Kia EV6 is not ready for normal driving operation or a system-related issue has occurred.
Blinking: Emergency driving operation may still be possible under limited conditions.
If the READY indicator turns off unexpectedly or begins blinking, a malfunction may exist within the Kia EV6 electric vehicle system. Have the vehicle inspected immediately by an authorized Kia dealer.
The READY indicator is one of the most important status indicators in the Kia EV6 because electric vehicles operate quietly and may appear inactive even when fully powered on.
i-Pedal indicator light
This indicator appears under the following conditions:When the Kia EV6 i-Pedal driving mode is activated.
The i-Pedal system allows one-pedal driving by increasing regenerative braking strength when the accelerator pedal is released.
The Kia EV6 i-Pedal feature helps improve driving convenience while maximizing regenerative energy recovery efficiency.
Smart regeneration system indicator light
This indicator appears under the following conditions:When the Kia EV6 Smart Regeneration System is activated.
The Smart Regeneration System automatically adjusts regenerative braking intensity according to traffic flow, driving conditions, navigation information, and vehicle speed.
Charging cable connection indicator light
This indicator appears under the following conditions:When the charging cable is connected to the Kia EV6 charging inlet.
The charging cable connection indicator helps confirm that the Kia EV6 charging system has detected the charging connector correctly.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) indicator light
This indicator light appears under the following conditions:When the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.
The Kia EV6 ESC indicator light illuminates for approximately 3 seconds during system self-check and then turns off normally.
When a malfunction occurs within the Kia EV6 Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system.
In this case, have the Kia EV6 inspected by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.
While the Kia EV6 ESC system is actively operating to improve vehicle stability and traction.

The ESC system of the Kia EV6 helps improve driving control during slippery road conditions, sudden steering maneuvers, or emergency driving situations.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) OFF indicator light
This indicator light appears under the following conditions:When the EV button is switched to the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.
The indicator appears for approximately 3 seconds during the normal Kia EV6 startup self-check procedure and then turns off.
When the ESC system of the Kia EV6 is manually deactivated by pressing the ESCOFF button.

Immobilizer indicator light (with smart key)
This indicator light appears for up to approximately 30 seconds under the following conditions:When the Kia EV6 detects the smart key inside the vehicle while the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.
Once the smart key is successfully detected, the Kia EV6 can be started normally and the READY indicator illuminates.
The immobilizer indicator light turns off automatically after the Kia EV6 enters READY mode.
When the smart key is not detected inside the Kia EV6.
Under these conditions, the vehicle cannot be started.
If the Kia EV6 detects that the smart key is inside the vehicle and the EV button is ON, but communication with the smart key cannot be completed correctly.
In this situation, have the Kia EV6 inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
When the battery inside the Kia EV6 smart key becomes weak.
When the Kia EV6 immobilizer system detects a malfunction.
If this occurs, have the vehicle inspected promptly by an authorized Kia dealer.

Turn signal indicator light
This indicator light blinks under the following conditions:When the Kia EV6 turn signal lights are activated.
If any of the following conditions occur, there may be a malfunction within the Kia EV6 turn signal system.
In this case, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
The indicator light illuminates but does not blink normally.
The indicator light blinks significantly faster than usual.
The indicator light does not illuminate at all.
High beam indicator light
This indicator light appears under the following conditions:When the Kia EV6 headlights are switched to the high beam setting.
When the turn signal lever is pulled into the Flash-to-Pass position.
The high beam indicator helps the driver confirm when maximum headlamp illumination is active during nighttime driving.
High Beam Assist indicator light
This indicator light appears under the following conditions:When the Kia EV6 High Beam Assist (HBA) system is activated.

The Kia EV6 High Beam Assist system automatically adjusts headlamp operation according to surrounding traffic and road conditions.
Light on indicator light
This indicator light appears under the following conditions:When the Kia EV6 taillights or headlights are turned on.
KEY OUT Indicator Light : (if equipped)
When the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position and any door of the Kia EV6 is opened, the vehicle automatically checks for the presence of the smart key.
This indicator light blinks under the following conditions:When the smart key is not detected inside the Kia EV6 while any door remains open and the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.
If all doors are closed under these conditions, a warning chime sounds for approximately 5 seconds.
The indicator light automatically turns off while the Kia EV6 is moving.
AUTO HOLD indicator light (AUTO HOLD)
This indicator light appears under the following conditions:White: When the Kia EV6 AUTO HOLD system is activated by pressing the AUTO HOLD button.
Green: When the Kia EV6 is completely stopped by pressing the brake pedal while the AUTO HOLD system is active.
Yellow: When a malfunction is detected within the Kia EV6 AUTO HOLD system.
In this situation, have the Kia EV6 inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

Lane Safety indicator light
This indicator light appears under the following conditions:When the EV button is in the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position. The indicator appears for approximately 3 seconds and then turns off.
Gray: When Kia EV6 Lane Keeping Assist operating conditions are not satisfied.
Green: When Kia EV6 Lane Keeping Assist operating conditions are satisfied.
Yellow: When the Kia EV6 Lane Safety system is disabled or a malfunction is detected.
If the yellow warning light remains illuminated after the sensor area has been cleaned or unblocked while Lane Safety is enabled, have the Kia EV6 inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
This indicator light blinks under the following conditions:
Green: When the Kia EV6 Lane Keeping Assist system is actively operating.

Green: When the Kia EV6 Highway Lane Change Assist system is actively operating.
White: When Highway Lane Change Assist operation has been canceled.

This indicator light appears under the following conditions:When the selected Kia EV6 drive mode is activated.
The Kia EV6 drive mode system allows drivers to customize vehicle response characteristics according to road conditions and driving preferences.

Intelligent Speed Limit Assist indicator light : (if equipped)
This indicator light appears under the following conditions:When the EV button is switched to the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position. The indicator appears for approximately 3 seconds and then turns off.
Yellow: When the Kia EV6 Intelligent Speed Limit Assist system is OFF, disabled, blocked, or malfunctioning.
When the Kia EV6 Intelligent Speed Limit Assist system is operating normally, the detected speed limit is displayed. If the Kia EV6 exceeds the detected speed limit, the displayed speed limit turns red.

Kia EV6 2022-2026 Owner's Manual: Safe Exit Warning (SEW): (if equipped)
The Kia EV6 Safe Exit Warning (SEW) system is designed to help reduce the risk of accidents when passengers exit the vehicle. While the Kia EV6 is stopped, Safe Exit Warning can monitor vehicles approaching from the rear side area and provide visual and audible warnings if a passenger attempts to open a door when a potential collision risk is detected.To adjust the steering wheel angle, pull the lock release lever (1) downward. Adjust the steering wheel to the preferred angle (2) and move it forward or backward (3) to achieve the ideal driving position. Pull the lock-release lever (1) upward to securely lock the steering wheel into place. Always confirm that the steering wheel is securely locked in the desired position before driving the Kia EV6.
