When driving on curved roads, the Kia EV6 Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system may have difficulty detecting vehicles, powered two-wheelers, pedestrians, or cyclists located ahead due to changes in radar and camera sensor angles.
This may result in delayed warnings, missing braking assistance, or unavailable steering assistance when needed.
Always maintain a safe following distance while driving the Kia EV6 on curved roads and be prepared to steer or brake manually if necessary.
Under certain conditions, the Kia EV6 may also detect vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, or motorcycles located in adjacent lanes or outside your lane while cornering.
If this occurs, the system may issue unnecessary warnings or activate braking or steering assistance unexpectedly. Always monitor surrounding traffic conditions carefully.

While driving uphill or downhill, the Kia EV6 Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system may have reduced ability to detect vehicles, motorcyclists, pedestrians, or cyclists ahead.
Changes in road angle may negatively affect radar and camera sensor performance.
This may result in unnecessary warnings or braking assistance, or in some situations no warning, braking, or steering assistance being provided when required.
The Kia EV6 may rapidly reduce speed if a vehicle, pedestrian, cyclist, or powered two-wheeler is suddenly detected ahead.
Always pay close attention to the road while driving on steep inclines or declines and manually maintain a safe braking distance.

When another vehicle (2) moves into your lane from an adjacent lane, the Kia EV6 sensors may not detect it immediately until the vehicle enters the radar detection area.
If a vehicle changes lanes abruptly, the Kia EV6 Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system may react later than expected.
In these situations, always maintain a safe following distance and manually steer or brake when necessary.
When the vehicle ahead (2) leaves your lane, the Kia EV6 may not immediately recognize the next vehicle (3) now positioned ahead in your lane.
Always remain attentive during lane changes and traffic merging situations.
Detecting a vehicle

If the vehicle ahead carries cargo extending beyond the rear of the vehicle or has unusually high ground clearance, the Kia EV6 may not fully detect the extended cargo area.
Always maintain a safe braking distance from the rearmost visible object and manually reduce speed when necessary.
When towing a trailer or another vehicle with the Kia EV6, turn OFF Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist for safety reasons.
