Roadside Assistance coverage is provided for all new Kia EV6 vehicles and other eligible current model-year Kia vehicles beginning on the date of delivery to the original retail owner or the date the vehicle is first placed into service, whichever occurs first. Coverage remains in effect for up to 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first, and is subject to the specific terms, limitations, exclusions, and conditions outlined in the Kia Warranty and Consumer Information Manual applicable to your Kia EV6 model year.
Kia America, Inc. reserves the right to review service usage and may limit or deny certain benefits if, in its sole judgment, requests for assistance are considered excessive in frequency, repetitive in nature, or outside the intended scope of the program. The goal of the Roadside Assistance program is to provide dependable support when unexpected situations arise during ownership of your Kia EV6.
Toll free consumer assistance
Complimentary consumer assistance services are available Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Kia EV6 owners and drivers can contact a Kia Consumer Assistance Representative by calling 1-800-333-4542.
Whether you have questions regarding vehicle operation, warranty coverage, service procedures, ownership benefits, or available support programs, trained representatives are available to help guide you through the process.
For complete details regarding assistance programs available for your Kia EV6, refer to the Kia Warranty and Consumer Information Manual supplied with your vehicle.
Emergency roadside assistance
Emergency Roadside Assistance for the Kia EV6 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Assistance can be requested by calling 1-800-333-4542 or by pressing the Roadside Assistance (RSA) button, when available through an active Kia Connect enrollment.
When requesting service, you will be asked to provide the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for your Kia EV6 in order to verify eligibility and coverage. The VIN can typically be found on the driver's side dashboard, door jamb label, vehicle registration documents, or proof-of-insurance paperwork.
Kia maintains access to a nationwide network of more than 30,000 roadside service providers. If your Kia EV6 experiences a common roadside issue such as a depleted battery, flat tire, or lack of fuel, a Kia Roadside Assistance Representative can dispatch qualified assistance to your location.
Depending on the situation, services may include delivery of a limited amount of fuel, battery jump-start assistance, replacement of a flat tire using the vehicle's serviceable spare tire (if equipped), or other reasonable roadside support designed to help you continue your journey safely.
Kia also works with a network of more than 10,000 locksmith service providers. If you become locked out of your Kia EV6, assistance may be arranged to help regain access to the vehicle quickly and efficiently.
If a warranty-covered mechanical condition renders your Kia EV6 unable to be driven safely, Kia's Roadside Assistance team can coordinate transportation of the vehicle to the nearest authorized Kia dealership or approved alternative Kia service facility for diagnosis and repair.
To receive towing or transport services, the Kia EV6 must be reasonably accessible to the recovery or transport vehicle, as determined by the responding service provider.
These services are designed to provide added confidence and peace of mind for Kia EV6 owners, helping ensure support is available whenever unexpected roadside situations occur.
NOTE
Roadside Assistance benefits are generally not available for any Kia vehicle that has been issued, or should have been issued, a salvage title, rebuilt title, branded title, or similar designation under applicable state law. Coverage may also be excluded for vehicles that have been declared a total loss or equivalent by an insurance company, financial institution, or other authorized entity.
Trip interruption
Trip Interruption benefits are available to eligible Kia EV6 owners when a warranty-covered mechanical breakdown occurs more than 150 miles from their primary residence and the required repairs cannot be completed within 24 hours. This program is designed to help reduce the inconvenience and unexpected expenses that may arise when your Kia EV6 becomes temporarily inoperable during travel.
When qualifying conditions are met, reasonable reimbursement may be available for lodging accommodations, meal expenses, and rental vehicle costs incurred while waiting for repairs to be completed. Trip Interruption coverage is generally limited to a maximum reimbursement of $100 per day, with a maximum benefit period of three days per qualifying incident.
To qualify for reimbursement, you must contact the Kia Roadside Assistance Center before making arrangements and obtain advance authorization for eligible expenses. Once authorization has been approved, the Kia Roadside Assistance team can assist with coordinating accommodations, transportation, and other necessary travel arrangements related to your Kia EV6.
Expenses covered by personal insurance policies, amounts paid by other assistance providers, deductibles, or costs reimbursed from alternative sources are not eligible for reimbursement under the Kia Trip Interruption Program.
This benefit provides additional peace of mind for Kia EV6 owners by helping minimize travel disruptions caused by unexpected warranty-related mechanical issues away from home.
Fleet vehicles and certain commercial-use vehicles are excluded from reimbursement eligibility under Kia's Trip Interruption Policy.
Registering your vehicle in a foreign country
If you intend to register your Kia EV6 in a country other than the one in which it was originally purchased, you should first verify that the vehicle complies with all applicable laws, regulations, emissions requirements, safety standards, and registration procedures in the destination country.
Even if registration is successfully completed, owners should carefully consider several potential challenges associated with operating and maintaining a Kia EV6 outside its original market.
Certain vehicle-related products, fuels, charging standards, service equipment, or other specifications recommended for your Kia EV6 may not be readily available in the country where the vehicle will be registered. The use of products or fuels that differ from those specified by Kia may result in reduced performance, component damage, or other operational issues that may not be covered under applicable warranty provisions.
Kia wishes to clearly advise owners that when a vehicle purchased new in one country is exported and registered in another country, issues resulting from the use of non-approved fuels, fluids, charging infrastructure, maintenance procedures, or operating conditions may not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
In addition, because a specific Kia EV6 configuration may not be officially marketed in the destination country, replacement parts, specialized tools, software updates, technical documentation, diagnostic equipment, and service expertise required for maintenance or repairs may be limited or unavailable.
Even when similar Kia vehicles are sold in the destination market, differences in government regulations, technical specifications, charging requirements, emissions standards, or safety requirements may create additional complications for owners.
There may be no authorized Kia dealership or certified Kia EV6 service center located near the area where the vehicle is registered. This can result in delays when obtaining warranty support, maintenance services, software updates, replacement parts, technical assistance, or specialized repairs.
For these reasons, Kia recommends researching local regulations, service availability, charging infrastructure compatibility, and parts support before relocating or permanently registering a Kia EV6 in another country.
Kia cannot assume responsibility for issues arising from limited service availability, regulatory differences, incompatible operating conditions, unavailable replacement parts, or unsatisfactory service received outside the United States.
