The Kia EV6 automatic defogging logic helps reduce the possibility of windshield fogging by automatically controlling the air intake mode and air conditioning operation according to specific conditions, such as () or () mode.

To deactivate or restore the Kia EV6 automatic defogging logic, follow the procedure below.

Turning the defogging logic on or off

1. Switch the Kia EV6 to the POWER ON or DRIVE READY position.

2. Press the windshield defroster button ().

3. While pressing the Kia EV6 A/C button, press the air intake control button at least five times within three seconds.

The Kia EV6 recirculation indicator blinks three times at 0.5-second intervals to confirm that the automatic defogging logic has been canceled or restored.

The Kia EV6 defogging logic status resets automatically if the vehicle battery is disconnected or fully discharged.
